Day to day

Day 1: Arrival – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your LUSEN safari guide will greet you in classic safari attire. A short drive takes you to your lodge in Arusha for check-in, rest, and acclimatization. If you arrive early, enjoy a late breakfast and relax as you prepare for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park Safari

After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and incredible birdlife. This “Elephant Paradise” offers stunning views and excellent wildlife sightings.

Day 3: Journey to Serengeti National Park (Central)

Depart after breakfast and drive across the Ngorongoro Highlands to the vast plains of Serengeti. Enjoy your first game drive as you make your way to camp. Serengeti is world-famous for the annual migration and big cats.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive – Central Serengeti

Day 5: Transfer to Northern Serengeti – Migration Viewing

Today, head north for a full day of game drives toward the Mara River area. From August to October, witness herds of wildebeest and zebras cross the river—a dramatic highlight of the migration season.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive – Northern Serengeti

Day 7: Drive to Ngorongoro – En-route Game Viewing

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
