Day to day

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

A friendly representative from LUSEN Tours & Safaris will meet you at the airport and transfer you to hotel in Arusha. Settle in, relax, and prepare for your upcoming safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your personal safari guide will collect you for the drive to Tarangire National Park. Travel through scenic Maasai plains, passing local villages and wildlife along the way. Once inside the park, enjoy a full-day game drive spotting elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, and more.

Day 3: Journey to Serengeti via Ngorongoro

Today you’ll travel through the lush Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing misty highlands and forested slopes. Keep your eyes open for baboons or elephants in the dense greenery on the way, stop to admire the vast Ngorongoro Crater before continuing to Serengeti National Park, where your afternoon game drive begins.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Game Drive

Spend the day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti, home to thousands of animals, including buffalo, impala, crocodiles, hippos, and migrating herds of wildebeest and zebras. With luck, you may also spot leopards, cheetahs, and lions on the hunt.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater, descending 600 meters to its floor for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts around 25,000 animals, including elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch by Hippo Lake before heading back to Karatu.

Day 6: Flight to Zanzibar

In the morning, drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a driver will take you to Tembo Hotel & Apartments in Stone Town, a historic coastal city filled with charm and culture. Optional tours such as a Spice Tour, Prison Island visit, or a guided Old Town tour can be arranged.

Day 7–9: Beach Escape in Nungwi

Transfer to Nungwi, a vibrant beach town in northern Zanzibar known for its stunning white sands and turquoise waters. Relax at Smile Beach Hotel, where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or simply watching the sunrise and sunset over the Indian Ocean. These days are yours to spend as you wish.

Day 10: Departure

Enjoy your final morning in paradise before being transferred to Zanzibar Airport at the agreed time for your international flight.
