Day to day

Day 1: Tarangire Game Drive

You will start your journey early with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar, followed by a flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will take you directly to Tarangire National Park for a full-day safari adventure

This park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal swamps teeming with wildlife. Keep your eyes out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many bird species including ostriches, giant kingfishers, and kori bustards

After an exciting day, you will head to Africa Safari Karatu for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most unique wildlife destinations. Formed from a collapsed volcano, the crater is home to over 25,000 animals, including the Big Five. You may spot endangered black rhinos, large elephant bulls, prides of lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and rich birdlife over 500 species have been recorded here

If you wish, you can visit a traditional Maasai village in the highlands (optional, extra cost) to meet local families and learn about their customs and way of life.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for return flight to Zanzibar, marking the end of an unforgettable 2-day safari.
