Day to day

Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam

Start with a morning pickup from your hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam. Embark on a 6-hour drive to Mikumi National Park, stopping in Morogoro for a hot lunch. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting wildlife like lions, elephants, giraffes, and impala. Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day 2: Full-Day Mikumi Game Drive

After breakfast, head into Mikumi for a full day of game drives with a packed lunch. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, zebras, buffalo, hartebeest, and more.

In the afternoon, drive to Udzungwa (3 hours) for dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day 3: Hiking & Waterfalls at Udzungwa Mountains

After breakfast, explore Udzungwa Mountains with a guided hike and birdwatching session. Trek through the rainforest to the spectacular Sanje Waterfalls, with panoramic views of the Kilombero Valley. In the evening, return to Mikumi for dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day 4: Mikumi to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, enjoy an en-route game drive as you leave Mikumi and head back to Dar es Salaam. Arrive by afternoon or evening for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
