Day to day
Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
Meet your professional driver-guide at your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 a.m. and drive to Ngorongoro. Descend 610 meters into the crater floor for a 6-hour game drive with a picnic lunch. Witness the endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and more.
At the soda lake, enjoy birdwatching, including flamingos. The thriving wildlife also supports predators like lions and leopards, as well as scavengers such as hyenas and jackals.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Simba Campsite

Day 2: Trekking Ngorongoro Crater Rim through Acacia Forest
After breakfast, drive a short distance from Simba Campsite to the starting point on the northern rim. Begin a 17 km trek through the lush Acacia Forest, accompanied by a Maasai warrior, armed ranger, and donkeys to carry your luggage. Enjoy stunning views of the Ngorongoro Crater and spot wildlife like giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, bushbucks, and a variety of birds.

Day 3: Trekking Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Start early after breakfast for another 17 km trek, taking 6–7 hours from Leyanai to Ilkiepusi along the crater rim. Walk through the Acacia Forest and enjoy panoramic views of the crater. Along the way, spot buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and a rich diversity of bird species.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Simba Campsite

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Arusha
After breakfast, take a short walk before being picked up by vehicle for a game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way as you return to Arusha, where your adventure ends.
