Trekking Experience
Located in northeastern Tanzania near the town of Lushoto, the Usambara Mountains are part of the ancient Eastern Arc Mountain range. They are divided into the West and East Usambara and are known for their cool climate, rich biodiversity, and breathtaking landscapes.
Ol Doinyo Lengai, meaning “Mountain of God” in the Maasai language, is an active volcano located in northern Tanzania near Lake Natron. It rises to about 2,962 meters (9,718 feet) and is the only volcano in the world that erupts natrocarbonatite lava, which is much cooler and more fluid than typical lava.
